Wendy likes to have children for patients. She has treated some children for over 20 years who are now adults and are coming and bringing their own children. She likes to treat the entire family to better understand what the future may bring in the form of dental health to the children. No need to leave King George to take your child to a dentist that loves to work with children. Dr. Wendy likes to talk to children to make them comfortable and permit her to examine and treat them. Dr. Wendy does not sedate children, she believes it is better for the children to want to come to the dentist and think that it is a fun place to visit and are not afraid.
Dr. Wendy and her staff interact with children by visiting child development centers to introduce them to dental education. She also has provided a "corn pile" at the King George Fall Festival each year.
Dr. Wendy recommends that a child’s first visit to the dentist be a Happy Visit. The Happy Visit permits the parent and the child to meet the Dr. and her team. No dental work is done and there is a no charge for this Happy Visit. The visit will help the child to not fear coming to the dentist.
